TRANSFER GOSSIP COLUMN: Spurs mull £50m bid for Dominic Solanke
With just over 36 hours left in the January transfer window, time is running out for clubs looking to complete deals before the deadline.
The transfer market has been characterised by a distinct lack of big moves this summer, with clubs looking to rein in their spending to comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations.
All the same, rumours continue to swirl around as we approached deadline day, with Tottenham linked with a move for £50million-rated Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke and still weighing up an offer for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.
The Blues could also part ways with Armando Broja, providing they can find a club ready to meet their £50m valuation of the player, while Manchester United are looking at a former Middlesbrough striker and Aston Villa are closing in on a new keeper.
Below, Mail Sport takes a look at the transfer rumours on Wednesday morning.
